Adaptation: This Beholder Biography would work well in any game set in Eberron, or that features warforged. Even with those absent, it would be easily adaptable to other semi-sentient constructs – a crashed Modron cube or cog from Mechanus, for example, or even some kind of Duergar subterranean mining contraption (like a big Apparatus of Kwalish styled after those tunnel-borers from TMNT!), complete with the multiple Duergar constructs from Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes.
